Abstract |
Studies have suggested the definite role of anti Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) treatment in low grade gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma. However, the response of primary gastric diffuse large B cell lymphoma to H. pylori eradication therapy is still not established. Only a few cases of complete remission have been reported and needs long term follow up. Recently, we experienced a case of a primary gastric diffuse large B cell lymphoma showed complete remission after H. pylori eradication therapy which was confirmed by histological examination of the gastrectomized specimen. Herein, we report the case with a review of literatures. |
